The national seminar was held on 19 July 2019 at UHST. This seminar was jointly organized by UHST in collaboration with RUA. The aim of this national seminar was ''Integrating Climate Change into Education at University Level''. This seminar contained the following specific objectives:
  • Awareness on the improvements achieved by the HEI thanks to the international cooperation projects
  • Better understanding of the labour market and socio-economic environment needs and trends
  • Promote research & innovation and technology transfer action
  • To introduce and disseminate the UHST Research and Development Unit on Climate Change to relevant stakeholders.

There were a total of 122 participants involved from the academic staff, lecturers, researchers, government officers and students.
The seminar provided a great opportunity for academia, relevant stakeholders, and government institutions to join actively for the discussion on current climate change issues, problems to be solved and necessary CC related subjects to integrate into the curriculum framework of UHST.
